Lina Claire Meza
Lina Claire Meza, MPS, LCAT, ATR-BC, CCLS, Executive Director Lina received her Masters Degree in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute. She is a Registered, Board Certified Art Therapist and New York State Licensed Creative Arts Therapist. Lina has extensive experience providing individual and group based psychotherapy services specializing in promoting concrete coping skills as well as fostering emotional expression through the creative process. In 2007, Lina was hired by Mercy Home for Children as a Clinical Consultant to implement a pilot art therapy program for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Lina has worked at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center with various populations such as children, adolescents, and adults within an inpatient psychiatric setting and adults diagnosed with HIV along with mental illness and substance abuse disorders. She also holds a dual certification as a Child Life Specialist. Lina founded the ARTS Rx™ program to expand quality oriented behavioral health services which promote recovery, wellness, and resiliency in underserved communities.
