She completed her internship at the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function where she led group and individual programs for older adults, and has worked in a school setting with children and adolescents with autism, developmental delay, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She works with clients to develop self-esteem and motivation, and also with cognitive-behavioral issues and physiological functioning through the therapeutic use of music. Laura’s person-centered, creative approach emphasizes active participation in music, which includes listening, playing an instrument, singing, movement, or songwriting.
