• AudreAnne Foster

    AudreAnne Foster, Master’s level intern,  is currently in her second year of an arts therapy graduate program at Hofstra University, working towards a Masters in Creative Arts Therapy Counseling. Her approach is based in client-centered treatment with an emphasis on building strong collaborative relationships within the therapeutic alliance.  She has had the privilege of working with children and adults in various stages of development, including children with behavioral challenges and adult populations with developmental disabilities. She has used a variety of art media to help clients process complex emotions and to increase mindfulness, positive self-image, self-esteem, relaxation, creative thinking, and positive self-expression, which have also helped clients to improve their interpersonal relationships.  Prior to entering graduate training, AudreAnne received a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology/Sociomedical Sciences at the State University of New York at Geneseo and tutored children in Delaware and New York public school systems. She is committed to helping clients cope with life’s challenges, and build skills for reducing symptoms in order that they may reach their fullest potential for personal growth.
